Every year, The Next Web Conference brings together over 15,000 start-ups, designers, programmers and investors as Europe’s leading tech conference. I moderated a fireside chat with the Mayor of Helsinki, Jan Vapaavuori. The Mayor and I discussed building trust amongst citizens in the age of Covid-19, how to scale strategy to implementation, and what it means to be a “functional city”.
